Graeme Chrystal

Graeme Chrystal
Managing Director, Zaicom International

Graeme is the co-founder and Managing Director of Zaicom International. He has 25 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical communications and consultancy. Graeme spent his first 10 years in the industry in a variety of sales, and sales training, positions working across a broad range of therapy areas.

In the past Graeme has worked as a business development manager, project manager, business unit director, head of business development and client services, and as a principal. His experience and expertise has been gained by actively creating and implementing strategic pre-marketing communications programmes both internationally and in the UK market. Graeme has a broad range of therapeutic area knowledge with significant experience in CV and CNS.

Graeme undertakes roles across the group actively participating in projects as well managing the group companies. He provides strategic consultancy for Zaicom MMC and inputs into positioning development, brand development, vision planning and marketing research projects.


Louise Sharp

Louise Sharp
Director, Zaicom International

Louise Sharp is the co-founder of Zaicom International and heads up Zaicom MMC's UK business. She has 16 years' industry experience in ethical pharmaceutical, business to business and consumer marketing communications.

Louise is passionate about making a difference for clients and bringing creativity and energy to medical communications. Her experience is both international and UK focused and covers the full range of communications disciplines. Recent UK work includes market access programmes, opinion leader development and advocacy development work, medical education programmes and speaker mobilisation.

At Zaicom Louise is responsible for the delivery of medical education programmes, advocacy and opinion leader development, meetings and congress management, internal communications and marketing communications programmes. Her international experience covers pre-launch communications planning, key opinion leader development, launch planning and implementation, and communication skills training.

Louise is committed to ongoing personal development and bringing this learning into the business to benefit clients. She has a BA (Hons) Public Relations, and is a Certified Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming). She has also worked as a visiting lecturer at Bournemouth University and Solent University on marketing and corporate communications.


Peter Robertson
Strategy Development & Client Services, North America

Peter has enjoyed 27 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical marketing communications, market research and strategic consultancy. He started in sales with Janssen Pharmaceuticals and moved on to Wyeth Oncology, both in Canada. A marketing position followed with ICN Pharma in the US, handling one of the first antivirals (ribaviron) brought to the marketplace.

The last 19 years have been spent working with Sudler & Hennessey, Melbourne, Euro RSCG, Montreal, Medics Group International, New York and Publicis, New York.


Julian Ball, MSc (Hons)

Julian Ball, BSc.(Hons)
Editorial Team Leader

Julian Ball is Editorial Team Leader at Zaicom MMC, where he is responsible for the operational management, quality control and delivery of editorial communications across a number of accounts.

During his past 12 years of working in the international medical communications industry, Julian has developed a wealth of experience by working on pre- and post-launch communications with many pharmaceutical companies across a broad range of therapeutic areas. His experience in medical writing, publication planning and editorial account management provides a solid base for any eventuality.

Julian has a degree in human biology and psychology and is an active member of the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals.


Charlie Bellinger, BSc(Hons)

Charlie Bellinger, BSc.(Hons)
Principal Medical Writer

Charlie has worked for 20 years in the medical communication agency environment both as a medical writer and editorial manager. During this time he has gained experience across a wide range of products and therapeutic areas, including cardiology, haematology, female health, gastroenterology, neurology, microbiology, virology, respiratory and urology.

He has worked on a broad selection of educational/market support materials, including newsletters (internal and external), monographs, training materials, hospital formulary resource packs, slide kits, exhibit-related activities, satellite symposia and standalone meetings, poster books, presentation development, and publication planning/implementation. He has also been involved in scientific strategy (recommendations, content development), the review and quality control of editorial materials, and overall project/process management.


Alison Prodger

Alison Prodger
Director, Conferencing and Events

Alison is responsible for running all types of meeting as well as exhibition stands. She has 20 years of experience in the conferencing and events industry with much of that time devoted specifically to healthcare. She has planned, managed and produced an impressive range of events in Europe, the Middle East, North America, South Africa and the Asia-Pacific Region for delegate numbers from 5 to 2,000.

Her considerable experience includes: official secretariat for international conferences, corporate client activities at international conferences, launch meetings, stand alone events, satellite symposia, investigator meetings, advisory boards, medical marketing meetings and meet the expert stand sessions. She has also developed and run an internal travel agency.

With extensive experience in speaker and delegate management, Alison rates highly the importance of acknowledging each attendee as an individual deserving of a personal service - no matter how small or large the event.

Ana Gaskill

Ana Gaskill
Account Director

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Strategic Marketing Ana began her professional career in medical communications in 1994. Ana has a proven track record with over 14 years management experience, covering the strategic and tactical delivery of a wide range of multi faceted medical education programmes.

Ana has worked on a number of therapy areas including oncology, CNS, respiratory and haematology. During this time she has provided a broad range of medical communication services, including publication planning, strategic consulting, live educational events, e-solutions and exhibit booth design.

Ana's experience enables her to have an excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry structure, roles and processes and the issues facing the industry. Ana has managed and delivered a diverse range of global projects and has first- hand knowledge of pharmaceutical codes of practice and the implementation of guidelines.

Naomi Walker

Naomi Walker
Account Manager

Naomi Walker is Account Manager at Zaicom MMC. Having joined Zaicom in 2006, Naomi has worked across a variety of accounts in her previous capacity as an Events Manager for the company.

Prior to Zaicom MMC, Naomi gained experience in a broad spectrum of roles including events management in the charity sector, hospital administration, and advertising production for a newspaper group.

Therapeutic areas that Naomi has worked across include diabetes, oncology, transplantation, blood management, antifungals and infectious disease. Naomi is looking forward to enjoying continued successful partnerships with existing clients and ensuring fruition for new clients.
