Account Director

As an Account Director you will be responsible for programme direction, strategic and medical communications planning, business development and team development, and will have to have a proven track record of succeeding in the fast moving Medical Communications industry to be considered eligible. You will set up and advise the strategy on pan-European and Global based accounts, and will be responsible for mentoring the team and managing the direction of your programmes.

Primary Duties will include:

Programme creation and proposal writing
Account management
Account direction
Communications Planning
Team Development
Business development
Internal team communications
Client liaison
Thrive under pressure, and be able to work to tight deadlines, whilst delivering exceptional and high-quality materials

Qualifications/experience required:

Life Science Degree
Global or pan-EU Medical Communications experience is a must
Strong knowledge of the Global pharmaceutical industry , constraints, opportunities and current drivers of change
Proven track record of success in senior account management / account direction
Account management experience
Research and planning skills
An interest in innovative communications techniques
Briefing skills
Scheduling the writing editing element of projects
Quality control and detail accuracy
Writing, editing and proof-reading skills
Team working

You will be keen to take responsibility for key accounts and develop solid relationships with your clients and opinion leaders. This position will attract a driven individual who seeks to develop their career within a small and successful medical communications agency.
