Account Director - Oncology

You will have achieved all you feel you can in your current environment and want to stand out from the crowd in demonstrating your talent. As the leader of several of the agencies key oncology accounts you will be responsible for development and delivery of a variety of wide-ranging communications programmes across the product life-cycle.

This client facing hands-on role requires strategic, creative and communication skills as well as sound tactical knowledge to lead and manage internal account teams to deliver in accordance with client expectations.

Principal Medical Writer and Senior Medical Writer

Due to expansion, our highly experienced and driven team is seeking a Principal Medical Writer and Senior Medical Writer to join its Editorial Services Team and assist in the production of exceptional quality medical education materials for the pharmaceutical industry.

The successful candidates will:

  • be educated to degree or PhD level and have at least 3 years' experience as a Medical Writer in the medical communications industry
  • demonstrate a high standard of scientific accuracy, literacy accuracy and attention to detail
  • have a broad experience of developing written communications that enhance understanding of both product and disease areas
  • offer demonstrable knowledge of several therapeutic areas, preferably including oncology
  • have a proven ability to assimilate medical and marketing information and offer input into strategic communications plans
  • exercise good interpersonal/communication skills for effective and professional liaison with colleagues, clients and healthcare professionals
  • demonstrate efficient and effective project management skills
  • contribute to new business development for existing and new clients, assist in the development of proposals, and play an active role in preparation and delivery of proposals/pitches
  • thrive under pressure, and be able to work to tight deadlines, whilst delivering work of exceptional quality.

Reporting to the Editorial Team Leader, you will be prepared to take responsibility as lead writer on at least one account, and develop solid relationships with your clients and opinion leaders.

This position will attract a driven individual who seeks to develop his/her career within a small, dynamic and successful medical communications agency.

Project Co-ordinator

Due to growth we are looking to recruit an additional team member for our Support/Admin team. This post will suit someone who thrives in a busy atmosphere, has great organisational and admin skills and has experience of working within project teams to deliver work of the highest standard.

This is a very busy and diverse role requiring superb attention to detail, an excellent standard of written and spoken English, strong communication skills, a proactive dynamic approach, excellent MSOffice skills and the ability to multi-task on a daily basis. You will be given your own workload and responsibilities and will be confident in working independently as well as working as part of a team.

Previous experience of project co-ordination within a scientific/pharmaceutical environment would be beneficial, however graduate calibre candidates with a keen interest to learn and develop their skills will also be an asset to the role. You will be a fast learner in order to master quickly tools and processes that assist you in your project delivery.
